Weaving as an art form

Our 7th and 8th graders started learning weaving, the textile art in which two distinct sets of yarns or threads – called the warp and weft , interlaced with each other at right angles to form a fabric or cloth, Weaving is a fun activity that helps to develop a child’s fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, concentration and problem-solving skills.

Through this activity students felt the radiance of love, of presence, of individual yet intangible spirit brought into tangible form.
